Construction and Key Advantages
The transformer consists of a magnetic core, primary and secondary windings, insulation system, and supporting structural components. Depending on the selected design, the enclosure and cooling arrangement may include an oil-filled tank and radiators or a dry-type protective enclosure.
1. Low-voltage neutral availability
The wye-connected secondary can provide a neutral point when it is brought out. This allows the system to supply three-phase loads and, where the voltage configuration permits, single-phase line-to-neutral loads. Neutral grounding must follow the project's electrical design.
2. Defined phase displacement
