The main components of a prefabricated box-type transformer typically consist of a high-voltage section, the transformer body, a low-voltage section, and auxiliary systems. These components together form a complete power distribution unit, realizing the transformation and distribution of electrical energy.

The high-voltage distribution section mainly includes high-voltage switchgear (such as load switches or ring main units), fuses, surge arresters, and incoming and outgoing cable accessories. This part is responsible for connecting to the power grid and performing high-voltage side disconnection, protection, and lightning protection, making it a crucial link in ensuring the safe operation of the upstream power grid.

The transformer body is the core component of the prefabricated box-type transformer, generally an oil-immersed or dry-type transformer, responsible for converting high-voltage electricity to low-voltage electricity. Its internal structure mainly consists of an iron core, windings, insulation system, and cooling structure, determining the capacity, efficiency, and operational stability of the entire system.

The low-voltage distribution section typically includes low-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, contactors, ammeters, voltmeters, and metering devices, used to distribute the stepped-down electrical energy to various power circuits, while providing overload and short-circuit protection functions to ensure the safety of downstream power consumption.

The box-type transformer is also equipped with auxiliary systems, such as the enclosure structure, rainproof and corrosion-resistant shell, ventilation and heat dissipation devices, temperature control system, and intelligent monitoring unit. Although these components do not directly participate in the conversion of electrical energy, they play a key role in the safe operation, environmental adaptability, and intelligent management of the equipment.
